A Dallas court today determined that the voters of Texas are wrong when they voted for a constitution amendment defining a marriage between one man and one woman. A Dallas court said it has jurisdiction to hear a divorce case between a gay couple married in another state.
Once again, common sense is absent in the thinking of the liberal judge who has decided to legislate from the bench in Dallas to declare the constitutional amendment as written in the Texas Constitution is unconstitutional. Texans have defined what their family values and their way of life are and they do not include the liberal definition of marriage. Yet the left thinks we should throw our family upbringing and religious beliefs out the window and accept a broader view of inclusion.
Today is indeed a sad day with yet another assault on common decency in our Great State of Texas.
