According to
http://www.cnn.com/2008/HEALTH/08/26/census.uninsured there are 45.7 million people that are uninsured for healthcare and there are 177.4 million that have healthcare. Let's say your doctor treats on a regular basis 250 people. However you have to wait 14 days before your appointment date to be seen by your doctor. Now congress passes the Obama's healthcare plan where 45.7 million people would be introduced into the current healthcare providers. If your doctor took his "fair-share" of those 45.7 million people it would be 64, or a total client list of 314. What took you two weeks, or 14 days to be seen now has increased by 20.38% or an additional 3 days to wait. Now 14 days is a long time to wait for medical attention but 17 days is getting really excessive. So how can your doctor get back to the unacceptable 14 day waiting period? (1) reduce his client list, (2) reduce the time he visits with you to diagnoise your ailment, or (3) ration healthcare.
So Mr. Obama, tell me where I am missing the point. Tell me that my numbers are wrong. Tell me how your plan will improve healthcare for a simple doctor office visit. Imagine if this same senerio for medical professionals in specialities. Where is the common sense in the lefts healthcare plan.
By the way, I am one of those Un-American mobsters participating in townhall meetings plus, I am a combat-trained military retiree that the Homeland Security has labeled as a potential terrorist.
