First day to file for a place on the primary ballot December 3, 2007
Last day to file for a place on the primary ballot January 2, 2008
First day to apply for ballot by mail for the primary January 4, 2008
Last day to register to vote in order to vote in the primary February 4, 2008
First day to apply for ballot by mail for the primary runoff February 8, 2008
(if did not request runoff ballot on application for primary ballot)
First day of early voting for the primary February 19, 2008
Last day to apply for ballot by mail for the primary February 26, 2008
(must be received, not merely postmarked)
Last day of early voting for the primary February 29, 2008
Primary Election / Precinct conventions March 4, 2008
Last day to register to vote in order to vote in the primary runoff March 10, 2008
County / Senatorial district conventions are held March 29, 2008
First day of early voting in the primary runoff March 31, 2008
Last day to apply for ballot by mail for the primary runoff April 1, 2008
